established and experienced fiberglass company
In 1968 Chester Rieck purchased the assets and customer list of Central Plastics of North St. Paul, MN following employment there for several years. The company was incorporated as Sunrise Fiberglass Corporation.
growth and efficiency
In 1999, after 30 years and 3 moves to larger facilities, production requirements and space limitations prompted another relocation to a larger, more efficient facility. We now occupy a 54,000 s/f plant adjacent to I-35 on the south end of the Wyoming, MN industrial park. September 2000 saw the completion of our present environmentally controlled, state-of-the-art, 10 acre manufacturing facility.
After over 50 years of custom fiberglass manufacturing, the current Sunrise Fiberglass Corporation is 3rd generation owned and operated by family.
ongoing training and education
Our composite technicians are trained and certified using the American Composites Manufacturing Association (ACMA) certification program. In addition, ongoing training (Quick Response Manufacturing, and Lean) is conducted in-house by instructors from Minnesota State technical colleges and universities.
